Its been out, its been tested and though I havent personally tested it myself I am Getting Mixed reviews about Microsoft's new edition to its OS line. Before we can start with this review however i want to let everyone know that this is a review of th release candidate version and NOT the final which won't be released for sometime.
Now, I'm no large fan of Windows but anyone trying Windows 7 for the first time will probably be as dazled as I was. The new startbar and widgets look beautiful and are compairible to OSX Leopards Dashboard. The blur effects that Vista was priased for are not missing in 7 and deffinately are better than ever. The New UI looks Amazing.

The downside to this Glamerous new OS in sheeps clothing? Support so far is terrible, routers, usb devices, cameras. Not supported by defualt. One user complained that it was difficult to get his CD burner to burn ISO and data disks. Others were saying wirless cards were not working and no drivers Vista or otherwise could get them to. Anouther downfall of the new Windows release is that alot of people are complainign the the new iterface is difficult to navigate. None of these Features are perminate and its possible and likely that Windows 7 will see some improvement. However until then Microsoft, your Release Candidate won't be getting to much praise here.
Garii and Various Testers Rated Windows 7 a 65/100
